We’re going to talk about shoes at our November meeting!
What shoes do you prefer to wear for walking, at the beach, when going out or getting dressed up? Have your preferences changed since your diagnosis? Do you keep your shoes on or walk barefoot inside the house? Do you have a specific brand or two that you gravitate toward? Some of our members have had shoe-related falls and near-falls. Have you had any shoe mishaps?
How have you modified your shoe choices to accommodate Parkinson’s? Come share your thoughts, tips, and experiences with shoes.
- Wednesday, November 5
- 1:00 – 2:30 PM
- VIA ZOOM
Note: Zoom link will be emailed the day before the meeting. Please plan to sign on from a quiet area of your home to preserve the group’s confidentiality. You may sign in 10-15 minutes early if you wish. We welcome you to join us even if you are running late. We get it if you are having a slower day!
A little background at our choice of topic this month. The focus of one of our previous meetings was fear and every one of us ranked fear of falling as #1.
