About our speaker: Dr. Evans has a BS in Molecular Biology and Chemistry from Western New England College in Massachusetts and a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. While at Bastyr, she developed a clinical interest in Naturopathic Neurology and Parkinson’s disease, which continues to be the focus for her practice today at Seattle Integrative Medicine.
Her approach is to address the underlying cause of Parkinson’s disease and, at the same time, work to decrease the side effects of conventional medications. Treatment is intended to complement the treatments offered by her patients’ neurologists. The goal of this integrated approach is to stop progression of the disease. In her practice, Dr. Evans also focuses on the brain and gut connection as it pertains to health and well-being in people with Parkinson’s.
