A couple of classes that have been sent our way for sharing:
Through a special partnership with The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and RxRelax, Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services is offering FREE Reeve-RxRelax Adaptive Yoga Classes on Tuesday evenings January, February and March (except March 24) from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Little River Glen Senior Center at 4001 Barker Court, Fairfax, VA.
Yoga and mindfulness can be helpful for over 100 physical and mental health conditions. This seated yoga class is designed for people with mobility concerns, people with multiple health conditions and their caregivers. Classes are aimed at:
- maintaining independence
- rejuvenating health
- developing a more robust brain and resilient outlook on life.
