Happy New Year everyone. I don’t know about you, but the year 2025 gives me pause. It doesn’t feel like that long ago we were celebrating the arrival of Y2K. How has another quarter-of-a-century passed?
It was so good to see all of you who were able to join us for our holiday lunch in December. In the spirit of our goal of accommodating everyone’s needs as much as possible, we will continue alternating in-person and on-line virtual meetings. January 8th is on the schedule as a virtual meeting. We understand some prefer in-person to Zoom meetings and some are unable to attend in-person, but we do encourage attending both if you can to maintain the closeness of our group.

“Life with Parkinson’s has been interesting and different,” someone recently told me and then went on to describe what she meant by interesting and different.
How would you describe your life with Parkinson’s? How does it differ now from a year or two ago? From the time when you were first diagnosed? (Note in our group, the date of diagnosis ranges from over twenty years ago in 2003 to as recently as a few months ago in 2024.)
Zoom link will be sent out the day before the meeting. Please plan to sign on from a quiet area of your home to preserve the group confidentiality.We also ask that you keep your video on during the meeting. You may sign in 10-15 minutes early if you wish. We welcome you to join us even if you are running late. We get it if you are having a slow day!
