WHY: YOU are our guest speaker! Since we took the summer off, we’ll start this fourth season off with a true support group meeting. Come visit with old friends as well as your new friends who are waiting to meet you.
If you’re new to the group, this is a great meeting to start.You’ll learn about disease progression, different types of treatment, insider tips from women who’ve dealt with this disease for awhile, strengths and weaknesses of your medical team options, current research studies and much, much more. And all of this from other women traveling the same road as you.
Our first speaker will be at our October 4th meeting when we will happily host Randolph Stephenson, MD, Movement Disorders Specialist from the Neurology Center of Fairfax. Although this is his first visit to us, he was an early supporter of the Women’s Group even as it was just getting started and we look forward to welcoming him.
