Welcome Spring! Northern Virginia is blooming! Flowering crocuses, daffodils, forsythia, cherry blossoms and more herald in the longer, warmer days of spring. This weekend’s 80 degree temperatures serve as a reminder that summer is not far off. Thinking about summer brings back memories of vacations at the beach, cross-country road trips, visits to the National Parks, exploring new cities and towns both in the U.S and abroad, and get-togethers with family and friends.
Let’s talk about all this and more at our Wednesday, April 2 meeting. What are your favorite vacation memories? Have you made vacation plans for the upcoming months? The topic is wide open, from planning to booking to going and doing. Who handles all the details? Do you prefer flying or driving or another way of traveling? Staying in a hotel or renting an Airbnb-type property? Or do you find it easier to stay home and have friends and family come visit you? Come share your thoughts and memories, and especially your travel tips! We look forward to hearing and learning from one another.
