For our upcoming December meeting, we are planning a holiday lunch. RSVPs requested by December 1.
- Date: Wednesday, December 7
- Time: 1:00 pm-2:30 pm
- Location: In the auditorium
- Topic: Holiday Lunch
Bring Your Own Lunch! We talked about a number of food options for the holiday lunch at our last meeting. To make this as simple as possible for everyone–because who needs additional stress in their lives, especially this time of year—each of us will bring our own lunch. Whether we decide to prepare something at home or pick up a salad or sandwich on our way, we can get what we want and take care of any dietary restrictions and needs.
Optional: Bring Something to Share! One of our members has generously offered to bring a dessert to share. Completely optional, but if you’d like to bring another dessert or something else to share, kindly let us know. It would also be nice to have soda or juice, if anyone wishes to volunteer. Large bottles are fine. Paper plates, napkins, and cups will be supplied. Plan on bringing your own water.
Meet in the Auditorium! We have coordinated to meet in the auditorium for our lunch. It is down the hall from and a little past the classrooms.
Donation Request! Our sponsoring organization has generously provided us a room to meet in free-of-charge every month since the group began in 2014. As a thank you and gesture of our great appreciation, we plan on making a group donation in December. If you would like to contribute, please mail your contribution at least a week prior to the meeting the address in the email. You may also bring your contribution to the lunch. Suggested contribution is $10 but feel free to contribute more or less as you feel comfortable or are led to give.
Please bring a mask with you to wear or not wear as you feel comfortable. For everyone’s safety, we ask that you not attend if you haven’t been vaccinated and boostered, are feeling ill, or have been exposed to anyone who is ill. By agreement with our sponsoring organization, we do not publicly post our meeting place.
Looking forward to seeing each of you in December!
